Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Educator to join our team at the Early Learning Childcare Centre. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and education to our young learners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement engaging child-care programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
  • Order supplies and equipment to ensure a safe and stimulating environment.
  • Engage children in activities that foster learning and creativity, such as storytelling, singing, and arts and crafts.
  • Guide children in developing essential life skills, including eating, dressing, and toilet habits.
  • Prepare healthy snacks and arrange rooms or furniture for lunch and rest periods.
  • Monitor children's progress and prepare reports for parents, guardians, or supervisors.
  • Attend staff meetings to discuss progress and challenges.
Requirements
  • Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate.
  • First Aid and CPR Certificates.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Permanent position with 30-40 hours per week.
  • English language proficiency.
