We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Educator to join our team at the Early Learning Childcare Centre. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and education to our young students.
Key Responsibilities- Program Development: Design and implement engaging child-care programs that cater to the diverse needs and interests of our children, promoting their physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development.
- Supply Management: Order and manage supplies and equipment to ensure a safe and stimulating environment for our students.
- Engagement and Activities: Plan and lead activities that foster children's creativity, curiosity, and love for learning, including storytelling, singing, and craft preparation.
- Guidance and Support: Provide guidance and assistance to children in developing essential life skills, such as eating, dressing, and toilet habits.
- Snack Preparation and Room Arrangement: Prepare healthy snacks and arrange rooms or furniture for lunch and rest periods, ensuring a comfortable and safe environment.
- Observation and Reporting: Monitor children's progress and identify potential learning or behavioral issues, preparing comprehensive reports for parents, guardians, or supervisors.
- Staff Meetings: Participate in regular staff meetings to discuss progress, share best practices, and address any challenges or concerns.
- Certifications: Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate, First Aid Certificate, and CPR Certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Language: Fluency in English.
- Work Schedule: 30 to 40 hours per week.
