About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned sales professional to join our Marketing & Sales team as a Chief Financial Markets Development Specialist. This exciting opportunity will focus on expanding our presence in the sell-side dealer financial institutions market with bond trading operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to drive business growth and revenue expansion.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with clients, identifying new opportunities and partnership prospects through in-depth market knowledge and product expertise.
  • Leverage technical skills and market insights to deliver exceptional customer experiences and support client engagements.
  • Maintain a strong pipeline of leads through cold calling, email outreach, and relationship-building efforts.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to execute contracts and ensure seamless customer onboarding processes.
  • Support the CEO in pre-sales activities, including prospecting, meeting coordination, follow-up communications, and invoicing.
  • Foster relationships with industry associations and stakeholders to stay ahead of market trends and best practices.
  • Ensure effective internal communication and reporting to drive business results.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Finance, Business, or a related field.
  • 2-3 years of experience in sales functions, specifically engaging Fixed Income products, with a strong understanding of financial markets.
  • Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills, with a proven track record of building and maintaining complex relationships.
  • Strong sales drive, A-class selling skills, and a hunter mentality, with a demonstrated ability to succeed in high-pressure environments.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to navigate complex commercial discussions and manage senior-level meetings.
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks, and adapting to changing market conditions.
  • Familiarity with Overbond's product suite, including Bond Trading Automation, Liquidity Scoring, Bond Real-Time Pricing, and more.
