Care Partners Healthcare Support Specialist

Care Partners is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Personal Support Worker to join our team in the Grimsby area. As a PSW, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care, promoting independence, and enhancing the overall well-being of our clients.

The Role:
- Assist with daily living activities, such as personal care, household tasks, respite care, medication assistance, and special functions.
- Promote a safe environment by demonstrating proper body mechanics, safe transfer techniques, and home safety.
- Provide cognitive, social, and emotional support to patients.
- Prepare nutritious, varied, and economical meals and snacks, including special diets, as determined by the care plan.
Your Qualifications:
- A strong desire and commitment to making a difference in the lives of your patients.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Availability to work non-traditional hours, such as early morning, evenings, and alternate weekends.
- A valid driver's license and vehicle.
- A valid certificate as a Personal Support Worker, Internationally Trained Nurse, Health Care Aid, Developmental Support Worker, Home Support Worker, or enrollment in a Nursing program.
