We are seeking a skilled Laboratory Assistant II to join our team at Chetwynd General Hospital. As a Laboratory Assistant II, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality laboratory services to our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Perform specimen collection, preparation, and testing under the supervision of the Chief Technologist or designate.
- Conduct inpatient and/or outpatient Electro Cardiogram (ECG) testing, and/or Holter monitor testing as required.
- Explain test procedures to patients and provide excellent customer service.
- Maintain routine equipment cleaning and maintenance.
- A comprehensive benefit package, including MSP, extended health/dental, and a municipal pension plan.
- Four weeks of vacation with one year of continuous service.
- Financial support for moving expenses for eligible positions.
