Medical Laboratory Technologist II

As a Medical Laboratory Technologist II at Northern Health Authority, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality laboratory services to our patients. We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to join our team in the Laboratory department.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform laboratory procedures in Transfusion Service, Core Analysis (Chemistry, Hematology), and Urinalysis.
Work collaboratively with laboratory and hospital personnel to ensure accurate and timely test results.
Maintain accurate records and reports, and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
Stay up-to-date with technological developments in the field and apply new knowledge and skills to improve laboratory services.

Requirements
Graduation from an accredited Medical Laboratory technology program.
Eligibility for certification from the Canadian Society of Medical Laboratory Science.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Ability to maintain attention to accuracy and detail over extended periods.
Physical ability to perform the duties of the position.
