Job Title: Truck Driver

Gillz Transport Ltd. is seeking a skilled and reliable Truck Driver to join our team. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive a variety of trucks, including straight and articulated vehicles, to transport goods and materials.
  • Load and unload goods, ensuring they are properly secured and protected.
  • Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
  • Operate and maintain the vehicle, including performing routine maintenance tasks.
  • Communicate with dispatch and other stakeholders to coordinate transportation schedules and routes.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and laws, including hours of service and weight restrictions.
Requirements:
  • Valid Class 1 or A Driver's License.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 2 years of experience as a Truck Driver.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Working Conditions:

The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment, with regular exposure to varying weather conditions. The position requires a high level of physical fitness and the ability to lift and move heavy objects.
