Job Title: Long Haul Truck Driver

Morning Star Trucking Ltd. is seeking a skilled and experienced Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team. As a key member of our transportation team, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods and materials across various locations.

Job Summary

We are looking for a reliable and professional Long Haul Truck Driver to operate our fleet of trucks and transport goods and materials to various locations. The ideal candidate will have a valid AZ class license, a clean driving record, and experience in long-haul trucking.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
  • Load and unload goods
  • Obtain special permits and other documents required to transport cargo on international routes
  • Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption
  • Transport and handle dangerous goods
Requirements
  • AZ class license
  • Valid driver's license (Class 1 or A)
  • Experience in long-haul trucking
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
