Job Summary:
The Clinical Aide plays a vital role in supporting the team at the BC Centre for Excellence in HIV/AIDS. This position requires a high level of organization, effective communication, and a strong ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Escort clients to and from designated areas, providing assistance as needed to nursing and technical staff.
- Maintain supplies for designated areas, ensuring equipment, cupboards, and storage areas are clean and well-stocked.
- Pick up and deliver equipment, supplies, and other items as assigned, ensuring timely and efficient service.
- Perform related clerical duties, such as photocopying, to support the team's administrative needs.
- Perform other duties as required to support the team's objectives.
Requirements:
- Grade 10 plus one year's recent, related experience in a healthcare environment, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and recent, related experience.
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to deal with others effectively, demonstrating strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to organize work, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively.
- Ability to operate related equipment, ensuring safe and efficient use.
- Physical ability to perform the duties of the position, with a focus on maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
