We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Clinical Research Associate to join our team at the University of British Columbia.
Job Summary:The Clinical Research Associate will be responsible for coordinating and conducting clinical trials, as well as providing administrative support to the research team. This is a temporary position with a variable schedule, requiring 32-40 hours of work per week.
Key Responsibilities:- Coordinate and conduct clinical trials, including preparing and submitting regulatory documents, managing study sites, and ensuring compliance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines.
- Provide administrative support to the research team, including preparing reports, managing budgets, and coordinating project logistics.
- Develop and implement methods for collecting and analyzing data, as well as designing and conducting research projects.
- Collaborate with researchers, clinicians, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Ensure accurate and timely completion of tasks, including data entry, reporting, and record-keeping.
- Doctorate degree in a relevant field (e.g., medicine, nursing, public health).
- 3-5 years of experience in clinical research, including experience with clinical trials and research coordination.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
