Job Title: Clinical Research Associate

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Clinical Research Associate to join our team at the University of British Columbia.

Job Summary:

The Clinical Research Associate will be responsible for coordinating and conducting clinical trials, as well as providing administrative support to the research team. This is a temporary position with a variable schedule, requiring 32-40 hours of work per week.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and conduct clinical trials, including participant recruitment, data collection, and data analysis
  • Provide administrative support to the research team, including preparing reports, presentations, and funding applications
  • Develop and implement methods for data collection and analysis
  • Coordinate project logistics, including travel arrangements and equipment procurement
  • Design, conduct, and analyze quantitative and qualitative research projects
Requirements:
  • Doctorate degree in a relevant field (e.g. medicine, nursing, public health)
  • 3-5 years of experience in clinical research or a related field
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Work Environment:
