About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cook to join our team at Bronx Pizza. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals and individual dishes, as well as ensuring the highest standards of food quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook complete meals and individual dishes, adhering to our menu and quality standards.
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and organization.
  • Train and supervise kitchen staff and helpers, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Order supplies and equipment, maintaining inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
  • Clean kitchen and work areas, maintaining a safe and healthy environment.
  • Recruit and hire staff, ensuring a high-performing team.
  • Organize buffets and banquets, providing exceptional customer service.
  • Manage kitchen operations, ensuring efficiency and productivity.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a kitchen or food service environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle heavy loads.
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and work under pressure.
