Job Description

We are seeking a reliable Duty Attendant to join our team at I Clean Edmonton.

Job Type: Full-time, Part-time

About the Role:

  • Perform general cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, washing and polishing floors, dusting furniture, and vacuuming carpeting and upholstered furniture.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned areas, including making beds, changing sheets, and emptying trash containers.
  • Ensure all tasks are completed to a high standard and in accordance with company policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:

  1. Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  2. Dust furniture, fixtures, and equipment to prevent dust buildup and maintain a healthy work environment.
  3. Vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture to keep them clean and free of debris.
  4. Makes beds and changes sheets in guest rooms or other assigned areas.
  5. Pick up debris and empty trash containers to maintain a clean and hygienic environment.
  6. Wash windows, walls, and ceilings to maintain a clean and tidy appearance.

Working Conditions:

  • This is a physically demanding role that requires standing for long periods, lifting heavy objects, and working in a fast-paced environment.
  • The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team to achieve goals and objectives.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; no degree, certificate, or diploma preferred.
  • Previous experience an asset; on-site work only, no remote work options available.
