**About the Opportunity**

The ML6 Search + Talent Advisory client, a leading healthcare services provider in Vancouver, seeks an experienced Operations Director to lead their senior leadership team. This dynamic individual will oversee daily hospital operations, develop and coach leaders, and ensure financial stability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Hospital Senior Leadership Team, providing hands-on coaching and guidance.
  • Foster effective communication between Specialty and Emergency associates and the Canada support team.
  • Evaluate and enhance the hospital's financial performance, achieving outstanding results through strategic planning and budget management.
  • Drive growth by assessing and implementing new programs, ensuring exceptional client satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with the HR Business Partner to deliver a comprehensive people plan, focusing on associate engagement, talent management, retention, and well-being.
  • Supervise clinic staff scheduling to meet client and patient needs.
  • Develop and maintain local hospital policies and procedures in conjunction with the leadership team.
  • Oversee hospital accounting procedures.

Requirements for Success:

  • 3-5 years of strong leadership experience engaging large teams.
  • Bachelor's degree in business or MBA preferred.
  • Experience in veterinary or human healthcare is beneficial but not required.
  • Solid financial acumen with ability to create and manage budgets exceeding $15M.
  • Demonstrated commitment to customer service, productivity, efficiency, and profitability.
  • Comfortable working in the medical sector.
  • Exceptional communication skills and adaptability when leading diverse personalities.
