Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

Alberta Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of food and service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish and implement efficient work schedules to meet customer demand.
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies to maintain optimal inventory levels.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring adherence to quality control standards.
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, ensuring minimal waste and optimal cost control.
  • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, addressing customer complaints and concerns in a professional manner.
  • Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing regular reports to management.
  • Establish work schedules and delegate tasks to staff, ensuring seamless operation of the food service department.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a food service environment, preferably in a supervisory role.
  • Basic security clearance.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, standing for extended periods, and lifting up to 25 pounds.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Working Conditions:

  • Standing for extended periods, with regular breaks to rest and recharge.
  • Combination of sitting, standing, and walking, with occasional bending, crouching, and kneeling.
