Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Bilingual Financial Planning Software Solutions Consultant to join our team at Royal Bank of Canada. As a key member of our Family Office Services team, you will play a critical role in supporting our financial planners, investment advisors, and other stakeholders across Canada.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide financial advice and planning solutions to clients, utilizing our proprietary financial planning software and tools.
  • Collaborate with various departments, including Wealth Management and RBC Personal & Commercial Banking, to deliver exceptional client experiences.
  • Develop and maintain technical expertise in Conquest Planning, myGPS, and Wealth Planning Calculators.
  • Assist in testing and quality assurance of new or updated financial planning tools.
  • Coach users on the effective use of financial planning software and tools.
  • Develop and maintain documentation, including job aids, user guides, and other resources.
  • Contribute to the development and delivery of training programs for sales teams.
  • Participate in cross-departmental projects and working groups.
Requirements
  • Bilingual (French/English) proficiency, both written and verbal.
  • Undergraduate degree in a related field, such as Finance or Wealth Management.
  • Professional designations, such as CFP, IQPF, QAFP, FPI, CLU, RRC, or PFP.
  • Knowledge of financial planning software, preferably Conquest.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in the financial planning/wealth management industry.
  • Knowledge of Canadian taxation and pension legislation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong research and analytical skills.
  • Able to manage competing deadlines and work independently.
