About the Role

We are seeking dynamic pharmacy students to join our team at the CIUSSS du Centre-Ouest-de-l'Île-de-Montréal. As a pharmacy student intern, you will have the opportunity to explore various sectors, including oncology, emergency, intensive care, general medicine, internal medicine, psychiatry, hemodialysis, antibiogovernance, geriatric short-term care, long-term care, and chronic disease clinic.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation of prescriptions and perform comparative analyses of medications to develop your skills and knowledge in a hospital setting.
  • Support patient care services in external clinics, such as day medicine.
  • Work on various projects under the supervision of a pharmacist.
  • Optimize pharmacotherapy for identified client groups under pharmacist supervision.
  • Participate in teaching for targeted client groups.
  • Validate simple prescriptions.

Requirements

  • Be pursuing a Doctoral Degree in Pharmacy.
  • Be a member of the Ordre des Pharmaciens du Québec as a pharmacy student.
