Pharmacy Technician Student

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Pharmacy Technician Student to join our team at CIUSSS du Centre-Ouest-de-l'Île-de-Montréal. As a Pharmacy Technician Student, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced healthcare environment and contribute to the success of our pharmacy department.

• Manage medication inventory, including receipt, rotation, and storage;
• Distribute and package medications according to established procedures;
• Assist senior pharmacy technical assistants (ATSPs) in service delivery, including batch-preparing medications and delivering preparations to care units;
• Maintain equipment and records, and support ATSP teams in capturing and prioritizing pharmaceutical orders;
• Participate in data collection processes from users under pharmacist supervision, as needed;

• Enrollment in a pharmacy technician program with completion of the first year;
• Excellent adaptability and problem-solving skills, as well as a proactive attitude;
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment;
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion;
