Job Title: Assistant, Secondary School Teacher

We are seeking a dedicated and organized individual to join our team as an Assistant, Secondary School Teacher at Marjolaine Dion C.O. et RH. As an Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our teachers and students in a dynamic and inclusive environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Accompany students during school and extracurricular activities, providing a safe and supportive environment.
  • Assist students individually or in small groups with assignments, reinforcing learning concepts under the supervision of the classroom teacher.
  • Perform other duties assigned by the school principal, ensuring the smooth operation of the school.
  • Assist with classroom inventory, maintaining a well-organized and efficient learning space.
  • Monitor and report student progress to the classroom teacher, providing valuable insights into student development.
  • Assist the teacher in the operation of projectors, tape recorders, and other audio-visual or electronic equipment, ensuring seamless technology integration.
Requirements:
  • Criminal record check, ensuring a safe and secure environment for students and staff.
  • Combination of sitting, standing, and walking, requiring a moderate level of physical activity.
  • Excellent oral communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with students, teachers, and staff.
  • Interpersonal awareness, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and students.
  • Organized and reliable, with a strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
  • Team player, with a willingness to collaborate and support colleagues in achieving common goals.
