Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sushi Operations Manager to join our team at Umi Sushi Express.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Determine the types of services to be offered and implement operational procedures to ensure seamless delivery of high-quality sushi experience to our customers.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews to identify areas for improvement and provide coaching and training to enhance staff productivity and efficiency.
  • Manage costs associated with products and services, ensuring that we maintain a competitive edge in the market while maintaining profitability.
  • Maintain accurate inventory levels, minimize waste, and negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies.
  • Negotiate with clients for catering or use of facilities, providing excellent customer service and ensuring timely resolutions to any issues.
  • Participate in marketing plans and implementation, collaborating with cross-functional teams to promote our brand and drive sales growth.
  • Lead and instruct individuals, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment that promotes teamwork and employee engagement.
  • Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner, providing solutions that meet their needs and exceed their expectations.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding promptly to inquiries and resolving issues efficiently.
  • Manage events, conferences, and other activities, ensuring smooth execution and exceeding client expectations.
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field, preferably in the foodservice industry.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers, colleagues, and stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex situations and develop effective solutions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, adapt to changing priorities, and maintain a high level of productivity.
