Job Overview

This is a permanent position offering 30-40 hours of work per week, with an estimated salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per year.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Demonstrating new cooking techniques and new equipment to cooking staff, ensuring seamless kitchen operations
  • Creating innovative recipes that showcase our commitment to quality and excellence
  • Instructing cooks in preparation, cooking, garnishing, and presentation of food, promoting culinary expertise
  • Supervising cooks and other kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment
  • Preparing and cooking food on a regular basis, or for special guests or functions, consistently delivering exceptional results
  • Requisitioning food and kitchen supplies, maintaining optimal inventory levels
  • Planning menus and ensuring food meets quality standards, upholding our reputation for excellence
  • Recruiting and hiring staff, contributing to the growth and development of our team
  • Training staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, promoting a culture of continuous learning
