Job DescriptionThe Preventive Maintenance Technician will be responsible for ensuring that our fleet vehicles are properly maintained and serviced to ensure optimal performance and safety. This role involves performing routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements, as well as conducting thorough inspections to identify potential issues before they become major problems.
The successful candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. A valid driver's license and basic computer skills are also required.
Required Skills and Qualifications- High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field preferred
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a similar role or in a related industry (e.g., automotive repair, heavy equipment maintenance)
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and vehicle management software
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment
