Job Summary

The Industrial Maintenance Technician will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of production equipment and machinery in a manufacturing environment. This role involves applying mechanical expertise to ensure the smooth operation of production lines and troubleshoot any issues that may arise.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintenance and Repair
    • Perform routine preventive maintenance checks on production equipment and machinery
    • Repair and replace parts on machines, such as bearings, filters, wiring, valves, gauges, and switches
  • Quality Control
    • Examine machine controls to install plate changeovers and start up machines for production needs
  • Health and Safety
    • Follow all work instructions and safety policies, including the use of PPE and safety equipment
    • Document and track changeover times and records

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 3-5 years' experience in a maintenance role in a manufacturing environment
  • Maintenance and repair of waxers, scroll shears, and Cone Top presses
  • Ability to interpret documents, such as procedure manuals, blueprints, schematics, charts, and diagrams
  • Basic mathematical skills used to add, subtract, multiply, and divide
