Job Title: Registered Practical Nurse

We are seeking highly skilled and experienced Registered Practical Nurses (RPNs) to join our team at RhynoCare Healthcare. As a valued member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work in a variety of long-term and acute care facilities in the Uxbridge area.

Job Summary

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong nursing skills, excellent communication, and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care. As an RPN, you will be responsible for providing nursing care to residents in accordance with established policies, physician's orders, and the resident plan of care.

Responsibilities
  • Provide nursing care to residents in accordance with established policies and procedures.
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care to meet the physical, psychological, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and social needs of residents.
  • Ensure timely and safe resident transfers and discharges.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of resident care.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
Requirements
  • Active registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
  • Able to work with persons with infectious diseases.
  • BLS Certificate.
  • Valid First Aid & CPR.
  • Proof of current immunizations for Measles, Mumps, Rubella, and Varicella (MMRV) and negative TB skin test within one year.
  • Current Vulnerable Sector Police Check.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Flexibility to work varied shift times, including eight or twelve hours in length.
