At Ontario Inc., we are seeking a skilled Culinary Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations of our food service team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for establishing efficient methods to meet work schedules, supervising staff, training in job duties and sanitation, and maintaining records.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish methods to meet work schedules and optimize food preparation processes.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring high-quality standards are met.
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation to minimize waste and optimize inventory management.
  • Evaluate food and service quality, addressing customer complaints or concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform business decisions.
  • Prepare and submit reports to management, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement.
  • Establish work schedules that balance staff needs with business demands.

Work Environment:

  • This is a fast-paced environment with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Physical demands of the job include walking, standing for extended periods, and lifting.
  • Attention to detail is essential in maintaining a high level of food quality and service.
