Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Ontario Inc. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our food service staff, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our food meets the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and implement efficient work schedules to meet customer demand
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of food preparation staff, ensuring that all tasks are completed to a high standard
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, promoting a culture of excellence and customer satisfaction
  • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, minimizing waste and optimizing inventory
  • Monitor and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights for business growth
  • Prepare and submit reports to management, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement
  • Establish and maintain a positive work environment, promoting teamwork and collaboration among staff
Work Environment

Our fast-paced food service environment requires a high level of energy and enthusiasm. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be on your feet for most of your shift, with regular breaks to rest and recharge. You will work in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service and ensuring that our food meets the highest quality standards.

Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a food service environment
