Job Summary

Skyworks is seeking a highly skilled Senior RFIC Design Engineer to join our Module Design Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and developing cutting-edge RFIC circuits for wireless module solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop RFIC circuits for multi-chip, multi-technology wireless module solutions.
  • Participate in the development of state-of-the-art PA, RF switches, LNAs, and front-end modules for Automotive and IoT applications.
  • Collaborate with a team of EM Design Engineers, Lab Technicians, Validation/Optimization Engineers, Test Engineers, and Package Engineers to tackle complex RF front-end issues.
  • Analyze design trade-offs in cost, risk, and performance.
  • Guide activities across multiple functions, such as layout, verification, test, and manufacturing.
Requirements
  • BS degree and 5+ years of experience in RFIC design.
  • Deep understanding of RF theories and concepts, including S-parameters, transmission lines, matching circuits, couplers, dividers, bias circuits, etc.
  • Experience in design, analysis, and implementation of high-efficiency, wideband linear PAs, LNAs, and RF switches.
  • Solid understanding of RF amplifier stability, matching, and bias design considerations.
  • Deep understanding of semiconductor technologies for analog and RF applications, including SOI, SiGe BiCMOS, CMOS, etc.
  • Proficient in design tools such as Keysight ADS, Cadence ADE, EMX, ADS Momentum, HFSS, etc.
  • Solid oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently or within a team and deliver according to product requirements and schedule.
Desirable Qualifications
  • Comprehensive knowledge of RF and wireless front-end components, systems, and various transceiver architectures.
  • Experience in RF test equipment and measurements.
  • Understanding and insight into RF packaging and modeling.
  • Solid knowledge of on-chip ESD protection strategies.

Skyworks offers a competitive salary range of CAD $77,300 - $131,800 per year, depending on relevant experience and skills. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including access to healthcare, a retirement plan company match, an employee stock purchase plan, paid time off, and more. Employees are eligible to participate in an incentive plan, and certain roles are also eligible for additional awards, including recognition and stock.
