Facilities Management Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at Angus Consulting Management Ltd. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of our equipment and systems.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and Coordinate Maintenance Activities
- Direct and supervise a team of maintenance personnel to ensure that all maintenance activities are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Coordinate and schedule maintenance activities to minimize downtime and ensure that all work is completed on time.
- Train and Develop Maintenance Staff
- Provide training and development opportunities to maintenance staff to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge required to perform their duties effectively.
- Identify areas for improvement and implement changes to maintenance procedures and processes.
- Ensure Health and Safety Compliance
- Ensure that all maintenance activities are conducted in accordance with health and safety regulations and guidelines.
- Identify and mitigate potential health and safety risks associated with maintenance activities.
- Manage Maintenance Budgets
- Develop and manage maintenance budgets to ensure that all maintenance activities are completed within budget.
- Identify areas for cost savings and implement changes to maintenance procedures and processes to reduce costs.
- Develop and Implement Maintenance Plans
- Develop and implement maintenance plans to ensure that all equipment and systems are properly maintained and repaired.
- Identify and prioritize maintenance activities to ensure that critical systems are maintained and repaired in a timely manner.
- Education
- College or CEGEP diploma in a relevant field such as mechanical engineering or facilities management.
- Experience
- At least 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a maintenance or facilities management role.
- Skills and Abilities
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and guidelines.
- Ability to develop and implement maintenance plans and budgets.
- Work Environment
- Fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Physical Demands
- Ability to work in a variety of environments, including outdoors and in confined spaces.
- Ability to lift and move heavy equipment and materials.
- Criminal Record Check
- Must undergo a criminal record check as a condition of employment.
