About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chef de Partie to join our culinary team at Pomeroy Kananaskis Mountain Lodge. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of food quality, safety, and presentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of specialist chefs, chefs, cooks, and other kitchen staff to ensure efficient food preparation and service.
  • Plan and direct food preparation and cooking activities, including menu planning, inventory management, and food cost control.
  • Train and develop staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, as well as maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service and high customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor and maintain accurate records of food costs, consumption, sales, and inventory.
Requirements
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Other trades certificate or diploma.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects.
