Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Railway Rate Analyst to join our team at CP. As a key member of our revenue accounting team, you will be responsible for managing and resolving rating errors, publishing signed contract rates, and performing corrections to resolve disputes and claims.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and resolve rating errors in the CP rating engines for US, Mexico, and Canada systems.
  • Publish signed contract rates while ensuring adherence to Delegation of Monetary Authority policy, Sarbanes-Oxley Act, and other policies.
  • Perform corrections to resolve disputes and claims reported by the Revenue Accounting / Collections/Interline Settlement teams.
  • Report revenue adjustments for any commodity/business units when thresholds are met.
  • Investigate root cause analysis to prevent future notifications.
  • Provide coverage for other commodity/business units within CP as required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college, preferably in a job-related major field of study.
  • Minimum two (2) years of relevant professional experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Analytical, detail-oriented, problem solver.
  • Proficient in MS Office suite (mainly Excel) and SAP.
  • Minimum two (2) years Railroad transportation experience.
  • Bilingual in Spanish, preferred.
