Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Health Information Management Practitioner to join our team at Health Careers in Sask. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate, dependable, and secure collection, maintenance, and dissemination of patient information.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform reception, registration, admitting, scheduling, payroll, financial, and general office duties.
  • Collect, maintain, and disseminate patient information in a secure and accurate manner.
  • Develop and implement effective systems for managing patient information.

Requirements

  • Diploma in Health Information Management (HIM) or equivalent.
  • Membership in the Canadian College of Health Information Management (CCHIM) and the Canadian Health Information Management Association (CHIMA).
  • Intermediate computer skills and keyboarding skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Working Conditions

This is a multi-site position with a home base at the Mental Health Clinic and an additional site at the Child & Youth Services. A valid driver's license is required where necessary.
