Key Responsibilities
  • Release of information: Ensure accurate and timely release of patient information to authorized parties.
  • Quantitative analysis: Conduct data analysis to identify trends and patterns in patient information.
  • Quality assurance: Maintain the integrity and accuracy of patient data, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • Diploma in Health Information Management.
  • Active Membership with the Canadian Health Information Management Association (CHIMA).
  • Competent in the use of computers and Microsoft applications.
  • Ability to operate a computerized data entry system.
  • Human relations skills required to empathize with complaints and/or concerns and establish rapport with patients, the public, and other staff.
  • Ability to effectively communicate factual information both orally and in writing.
Working Conditions

This is a full-time regular position with a 3-week rotation, working days with 14 shifts of 7.77 hours. The salary range is Pay Band 4, $27.803 to $ step range.
