About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Actuarial Analyst to join our Retirement team at Willis Towers Watson. As an actuarial analyst, you will play a key role in developing and applying your consulting, technical, and project management skills in the areas of retirement plan valuations, design, compliance, and risk and financial management for all types of retirement plans.

In this role, you will participate on teams that help organizations of varying sizes align their retirement programs to their company objectives. You will be responsible for participating on client teams and partnering with consultants on diverse projects, including pension and post-retirement medical valuations, benchmarking analysis of benefit plan designs, designing and implementing retirement plans, experience studies, asset/liability modeling, financial reporting, administration, and strategic consulting with respect to financial risk management, compliance, and governance.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need a Bachelor's or Master's degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, finance or any other major with significant quantitative course work. You should also have a commitment to attaining the designation of Fellow of the Canadian Institute of Actuaries (CIA). Strong technical and/or client service skills are essential, as well as a passion for solving problems and sharing solutions to exceed client standards.

You should be able to work independently, as well as cooperatively in a close team environment. Excellent oral and written communication skills, as well as proficiency in English and French, both written and oral, are required. You should also have excellent Microsoft Office skills, particularly in Excel.

The estimated salary range for this position is $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
