About This Role

We are seeking a skilled Mobile Maintenance Mechanic to join our team in Toronto. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal functionality and safety of our complex building systems.

Job Description
  • Routine Inspections: Conduct regular inspections of property and site conditions to identify potential issues and ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Preventative Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks, including HVAC maintenance, plumbing asset testing, and fire and life safety equipment inspection.
  • Fire Panel Maintenance: Monitor and maintain fire panel systems, including resetting and bypassing as required.
  • Equipment Inspections: Conduct visual and physical inspections of lifting devices, cranes, compressors, HVAC systems, overhead doors, and operators to ensure safe and efficient operation.
  • Corrective Maintenance: Perform various corrective maintenance tasks, including gutter cleanouts, fence repairs, brick and mortar repairs, and general landscaping and site maintenance.
  • Safety and Compliance: Ensure all equipment is operated safely and efficiently, adhering to client policies and applicable codes and regulations.
  • Tenant Requests: Respond to tenant requests, including hot/cold adjustments, lighting changes, minor repairs, and furniture relocation, while providing exceptional customer service.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent; Building Environment System Certificate or trade license considered an asset.
  • 1-3 years of experience in maintenance and repair of complex building systems; HVAC experience required.
  • Knowledge and experience with building automation systems (BAS).
  • Valid Ontario G driver's license; traveling within the GTA is required.
  • Bending and lifting required; lifting under 30 kg.
  • Security clearance requirements: must be able to obtain reliability or secret clearance.
  • Proficient user of MS365 Suite.

$60,000 - $80,000 per annum, based on experience and qualifications.
