​Job Title: Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor

Description: As a Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor at Commercial Bakeries Corporation, you will oversee the maintenance and repair of equipment to ensure optimal production. Your team will rely on your expertise to troubleshoot issues and implement efficient solutions.

  • Work Environment: This role is based in an industrial setting, with regular exposure to outdoors, noisy conditions, heights, and dusty environments.
  • Work Schedule: You will work 40 hours per week, with possible shift or on-call work.
  • Education: A Bachelor's degree is required, with equivalent experience considered.
  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience in a related field is preferred.

Responsibilities:

  1. Prepare production and other reports to inform management decisions.
  2. Recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
  3. Supervise workers and projects, ensuring health and safety regulations are followed.
  4. Co-ordinate and schedule activities to meet work schedules and deadlines.
  5. Train or arrange for training to enhance team skills.
  6. Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
  7. Establish methods to meet work schedules and co-ordinate work activities with other work units.

Requirements:

  • Industrial Mechanic (millwright) Red Seal Certificate.
  • Occupational Health and Safety Certificate.
  • Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) Trade Certification.
  • Criminal record check.
