About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Facilities Attendant to join our team at Skyservice. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day functioning of our facilities, including snow removal, lawn maintenance, and janitorial services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain various equipment, including shovels, sweepers, tractors, and skid loaders, to ensure safe and efficient snow removal and groundskeeping.
  • Perform daily janitorial services, including cleaning and maintaining facilities, and ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our employees and clients.
  • Assist with the issuance, return, and maintenance of security key cards, and perform routine building maintenance and repairs.
  • Participate in scheduling and coordination of annual facility inspections, and support the team in safety and security audit processes.
Requirements
  • Minimum 4 years of employment experience, with a valid G driver's license and a clean police record.
  • Light and medium equipment operator experience, with heavy equipment operating experience or training preferred.
  • Intermediate understanding of electrical, plumbing, tiling, and HVAC systems, with experience with hand tools and electric tools an asset.
  • Ability to lift 50lbs or more, and work in extreme weather conditions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
