Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Laboratory Technologist to join our Core Lab team in Stratford. As a key member of our laboratory team, you will be responsible for performing routine and advanced test procedures, ensuring the efficient functioning of our laboratory.

Responsibilities
  • Perform a variety of laboratory tests and procedures, including blood banking, hematology, and biochemistry.
  • Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, including automated analyzers and microscopes.
  • Collect and process blood samples, ensuring accurate and timely results.
  • Collaborate with laboratory staff to ensure smooth laboratory operations and high-quality patient care.
  • Participate in quality control and quality assurance activities to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited Medical Laboratory Technology program.
  • Current or eligible for registration with the Canadian Medical Laboratory Technologists Organization (CMLTO) in the disciplines of Blood Bank, Hematology, and Biochemistry.
  • At least two years of recent technical experience in a core laboratory setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced laboratory setting.
