Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a team of pastry chefs and cooks to ensure the highest standards of quality and presentation.
  • Develop and implement new recipes, menus, and cooking techniques to stay ahead of the competition.
  • Supervise the preparation and presentation of pastries, desserts, and other sweet treats for our restaurants and events.
  • Collaborate with our culinary team to ensure seamless execution of menu items and special requests.
  • Maintain accurate records of food costs, consumption, sales, and inventory to ensure efficient operations.
  • Analyze operating costs and other data to identify areas for improvement and implement changes as needed.
  • Recruit, train, and develop staff to ensure a high-performing team.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
Requirements:
  • College diploma or equivalent in pastry arts or a related field.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience as a pastry chef or in a related role.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects.
