Key Responsibilities- Plan and implement menus that meet the needs of our customers and align with our culinary vision.
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes, including complete meals and individual items, to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
- Work with our dietitian and chef to prepare special meals for patients with dietary restrictions or allergies.
- Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Train and supervise kitchen staff and helpers to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their roles effectively.
- Order supplies and equipment as needed to maintain a well-stocked and efficient kitchen.
- Clean and maintain kitchen and work areas to the highest standards of cleanliness and organization.
- Organize and manage buffets and banquets to ensure a high-quality dining experience for our customers.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as culinary arts or hospitality.
- 1-2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a hospital or healthcare setting.
- Excellent culinary skills and knowledge of food safety and handling procedures.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to train and supervise staff effectively.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
