Responsibilities:

  • Health and Safety:

    Promote a health and safety culture among production employees, providing awareness and training programs as needed.

  • Production Optimization:

    Evaluate and optimize current production methods and equipment to meet product demand within the estimated timeframe.

  • Organizational Structure:

    Determine the packaging department's organizational structure to maximize efficiency.

  • Quality Assurance:

    Ensure all operations, processes, and procedures conform to GMP standards and maintain necessary documentation.

  • Quality Management:

    Direct the development and implementation of operating and manufacturing standards within a Quality Management System.

  • Process Improvement:

    Develop approaches to reduce waste, resolve problems, and improve health and safety in operations.

  • Training and Development:

    Ensure all personnel have adequate training and standard operating procedures are in place.

  • Cost Management:

    Help develop the annual budget and perform monthly cost tracking activities.

  • Narcotics Management:

    Coordinate the use of narcotics in accordance with required regulations.

  • Project Implementation:

    Participate in project implementations, new product introductions, and manufacturing process improvements.

  • Reporting:

    Prepare monthly summary reports for the Senior Director – Manufacturing.

  • Production Tracking:

    Track production levels and potential impacts on company financial results.

  • Leadership:

    Demonstrate organizational, planning, and managerial skills, as well as the ability to develop, lead, and motivate professionals and staff.
