About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Architectural Technologist to join our team at DIALOG-DESIGN. As a key member of our design team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the development of projects from concept to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with our design team to develop and refine project designs, ensuring they meet the needs of our clients and stakeholders.
  • Assist in the preparation of construction documents and support permit applications, ensuring compliance with relevant building codes and regulations.
  • Promote innovation and excellence in design, pushing the boundaries of conventional detailing and resolving complex design and technical issues.
  • Develop and maintain in-house expertise and methodologies, advancing the group's technical and quality standards.
  • Build and coordinate architectural BIM models, ensuring seamless integration with project teams and stakeholders.
  • Provide technical support to designers, specifications, and contract administration teams, ensuring effective collaboration and communication.
  • Implement practice goals and objectives, leading by example and mentoring team members to achieve excellence.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of progressive experience as an Architectural Technologist.
  • Diploma in Architectural Technology or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in Revit and experience with BIM modeling.
  • Knowledge of building codes, construction systems, engineering systems, and building materials.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a focus on effective teamwork.

Nice to Have:

  • Certified LEED project experience.
  • Adobe Suite and other visualization software experience.
