Program Manager: Research Operations

We're seeking a highly skilled Programme Director to lead our Fusion Programme, which supports our growth strategy for our British Gas field business. As Programme Director, you will maintain a strategic focus and ensure that the overarching vision and goals are in alignment with British Gas Services and Solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Manage resource allocation effectively and mitigate programme risks through identification, assessment, and resolution.
- Prioritise high-impact activities and develop a stakeholder engagement strategy to align and gain support from stakeholders.
- Establish and monitor key performance metrics for the programme, including what success looks like.
- Ensure credible planning across the programme, taking account of interdependencies and programme finances managed in line with approved budgets.
- Major programme leadership skills gained from a large complex organisation, preferably in the energy, FMCG, or utilities sectors.
- Experience of managing programmes with medium to high complexity, including knowledge and experience of both waterfall and Agile delivery methods, including dev-ops.
- Ability and experience of providing strategic direction in the areas of governance, strategy, program management, vendor management, and portfolio management.
- Demonstrable experience of delivering complex projects and delivering project outcomes for impacted areas, such as process improvement, service management, IT governance, and program management.
