About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Service Representative at Farm Boy Inc.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver Exceptional Customer Service: Provide a high-quality shopping experience to all customers, ensuring a positive and memorable interaction.
  • Product Knowledge and Support: Develop a passion for food and confidently handle customer questions or comments, showcasing a deep understanding of our products and services.
  • Store Operations and Maintenance: Package, stock, and rotate display counters to ensure high-quality products and accurate signage, while maintaining a clean and safe store environment.
  • Team Collaboration and Support: Work effectively with colleagues to achieve sales goals, provide assistance as needed, and contribute to a positive team dynamic.
  • Adhere to Company Policies: Comply with all corporate policies, particularly those related to Health and Safety, Food Safety, and equipment use, to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Opening and Closing Procedures: Perform designated opening and closing tasks, offering support to other team members as required.
Requirements
  • Superior Customer Service Skills: Demonstrate exceptional customer service, organizational, and interpersonal skills to provide a positive shopping experience.
  • Retail Experience: Possess experience in a retail environment or an equivalent combination of education and experience, which will be considered an asset.
  • Attention to Detail and Quality: Maintain a high standard for quality, attention to detail, and cleanliness in all aspects of the job.
  • Effective Communication: Possess a clear and effective communication style, both written and oral, to work collaboratively with colleagues and management.
  • Flexibility and Adaptability: Demonstrate flexibility in scheduling, including weekends, evenings, and holidays, and adapt to changing situations and priorities.
  • Language Skills: Fluency in English and French is considered an asset.
Work Environment
  • Physical Demands: Stand for long periods, lift, carry, or handle heavy objects, and adapt to temperature changes in the store environment.
