Financial Analyst IFRS Job Description

CAE is seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst IFRS to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our accounting team, you will play a crucial role in leading various projects and contributing to the growth of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as the finance business partner for specific business units, providing financial analysis and insights to support their performance evaluation.
  • Contribute to discussions on non-routine transactions, such as business acquisitions and joint ventures, and provide expert accounting treatment and documentation.
  • Prepare strategic ad hoc financial analysis and present key observations to management.
  • Participate in the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of our accounting team.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting.
  • Professional accounting designation (CPA) mandatory.
  • Minimum of six years of relevant experience.
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, leadership abilities, and a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic and changing environment.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Bilingual (French and English).
