We are seeking an experienced Operations Assistant to join our team. As an Operations Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our Partner and Managers of the public company group by assisting with various administrative tasks and ensuring the success of our client engagements.

  • Prepare, format, proofread and finalize letters and reports, including auditor's reports
  • Assist partners and managers with billing activities and tasks, including preparing and sending invoices to clients
  • Prepare monthly and weekly reports and logs and compile information for routine and ad-hoc requests
  • Coordinate and facilitate practice management and quality control initiatives
  • Audit file archiving and maintenance of related logs
  • Coordinate training sessions, including maintaining attendance logs and tracking make-up sessions
  • E-filing tax returns
  • Provide support to partners and managers on various duties and assignments as required

Responsibilities:

The Operations Assistant will be responsible for performing a variety of administrative tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the public company group. This includes:

  • Preparing and formatting documents, such as letters and reports
  • Assisting with billing and invoicing activities
  • Preparing and maintaining records and logs
  • Coordinating training and professional development initiatives
  • Providing administrative support to partners and managers

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Post-secondary education
  • 1-3 years of experience in an administrative role, preferably in a professional services setting
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality documents
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
