About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Game Designer to join our team at Behaviour Interactive. As a key member of our game development team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing high-quality game features from conception to implementation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Document Game Systems: Provide relevant design vision and documentation for any type of required game systems, ensuring they meet the required quality level.
  • Lead Small Teams: Lead small multi-disciplinary teams to develop game systems to the required quality level, fostering collaboration and ensuring timely delivery.
  • Create Engaging Gameplay: Create high-quality gameplay that stays within the confines of the game's direction, ensuring a seamless player experience.
  • Manage Game Design Documentation: Create and update all game design documentation, ensuring it is accurate, up-to-date, and easily accessible.
  • Balance Gameplay Systems: Create and balance gameplay systems, ensuring they are fun, challenging, and rewarding.
  • Test and Iterate: Test features in both Live and QA environments, identifying and addressing any issues or areas for improvement.
Requirements
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in the video game industry, with a proven track record of designing and implementing high-quality game features.
  • Technical Skills: Experience with 3Cs (camera, character, controls), combat, and multiplayer games, as well as proficiency with Unreal 4.X and Blueprints for scripting and testing purposes.
  • Language Skills: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in French and/or English.
