About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Game Software Engineer to join our engineering team at Tier 9 Game Studios. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and optimizing game mechanics, features, and systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Take ownership of assigned work from start to finish, ensuring timely completion and high-quality results.
  • Design and implement new systems to achieve project goals, leveraging your expertise in software engineering principles and code quality.
  • Learn and work with existing systems, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
  • Ensure that code meets quality and performance standards for release, conducting thorough testing and debugging.
  • Identify and address issues or areas of improvement proactively, collaborating with teammates to resolve complex problems.
  • Support and assist teammates as needed, fostering a collaborative and creative work environment.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in C# and/or Java, with a strong commitment to software engineering principles and code quality.
  • Experience in Unity or other similar game engines, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality results.
  • Ability to rapidly prototype and polish to high standards, with a focus on delivering engaging and immersive gaming experiences.
  • Great communication, organizational, and time management skills, with a strong attention to detail.
  • Strong debugging, optimization, and testing skills, with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
  • Proactive and independently motivated, with a passion for creating great mobile games.
