Key Responsibilities:

  • Sorting, labeling, and packaging finished goods for shipment, adhering to customer specifications
  • Inspecting the general appearance of finished products to ensure quality standards
  • Preparing cores for machine operators to optimize production
  • Operating slitting, rewinding, and automated packaging equipment to meet production demands
  • Tracking multiple orders as they are being packed to ensure timely shipment
  • Performing duties to continuously improve quality and productivity, contributing to the success of our production line
  • Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work area to promote a healthy work environment
  • Assisting in equipment maintenance activities, as directed by the supervisor
  • Participating in group problem-solving teams and continuous improvement activities to drive process excellence
  • Performing all other duties assigned by the supervisor to support the team's goals

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in a similar role in a warehouse environment
  • Ability to lift 50lbs to meet the physical demands of the job
  • Forklift certification or experience is an asset
  • Vaccination status (2 doses) is required
  • Steel-toed shoes are mandatory for workplace safety
