Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team at Lakeridge Health. As a key member of our department, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to nuclear medicine and PET-CT imaging.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform general PET-CT and nuclear medicine procedures, including preparation of radiopharmaceuticals and quality control of equipment.
  • Assist the nuclear medicine physician with specialized procedures and maintain patient safety and comfort.
  • Direct and plan for daily patient flow in the department, assist with clerical functions, and participate in student training.
  • Maintain competence as required by the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario.
Requirements
  • Current registration with the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario in good standing.
  • Completion of an accredited program in nuclear medicine.
  • Knowledge of Ministry reporting responsibilities, PET Scans Ontario/OH-CCO processes, and electronic image management systems.
  • Ability to perform all required imaging procedures and therapy procedures.
  • Proven good organizational, prioritization, and time-management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
