**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Technical Artist to join our team. As a Technical Artist, you will provide support building and delivering key technologies and workflows that enable artists and designers to quickly implement visual content into our games.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Provide technical expertise to artists and designers to ensure seamless integration of visual content into our games.
  • Develop and maintain tools and processes that facilitate content authoring with an emphasis on user experience, quality, and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify problems and propose solutions that meet the needs of the team.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to improve workflows and processes, and implement changes as needed.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of game engine technologies, including Unreal Engine, Maya, Python, Substance Designer & Painter, Speedtree, and Houdini.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, and apply this knowledge to improve our game development processes.

**Requirements**

  • 5+ years of experience in the games industry.
  • Advanced understanding of the creation and integration of 3D art.
  • Proficient with Unreal Engine, Maya, Python, Substance Designer & Painter, Speedtree, and Houdini.
  • Shipped at least 2 AAA titles from start to finish on multiple platforms.
  • Excellent communication skills, especially with regards to illustrating technical processes.
  • Proficiency with Python, HLSL, GLSL.
  • C++ experience or Computer Science degree.
  • Extensive portfolio with examples of professional work (e.g. art, scripts, tools, simulations, etc.).
  • Blueprint or asset scripting abilities.
